Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Prayer of Thanksgiving:  We always give thanks to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you.

Thanksgiving is probably one of my most favourite holidays, even more than Christmas (I think).  A lot of you know I'm a 'foodie' so I guess this makes sense. Thanksgiving typically means A LOT of food and enjoying the bounty of the harvest. And oooooooooooh how heart-warming and comforting is turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing and all the trimmings!  Family and loved ones are invited to the dinner table as we pause from our busy lives a while and reflect on how much we have to be thankful for. Here in Canada it's a National holiday and for most of us who work we get stat pay to boot! In a nutshell, Thanksgiving really is a sweet holiday.
